Learn more about the Bermuda Union of Teachers Conference

QUESTION: When does registration commence?
ANSWER: Registration will be opened from September 30th until October 9th.

QUESTION: What time does the Conference start?
ANSWER: The official conference begins at 8:45 and end at 4:00. However, a welcome reception begins at 8:00. See our ‘Event List’ for pre and post conference events as well.

QUESTION: Where can I find a schedule of events ?
ANSWER: There are 5 events planned for this year’s conference. Go to the ‘Event List’ tab on this website for more information.

QUESTION: Can non-BUT members attend the conference or any of the pre or post events?
ANSWER: Our conferences and all events are open to any one interested. When registering click on ‘non-member’. A $50.00 fee is required to be paid at the registration table on the day of the conference. Our pre and post events are ticketed. Tickets can be purchased at pix.bm or from the Union office.

QUESTION: Will there be lunch provided on site?
ANSWER: We have secured a caterer to allow food for purchase. Click on the Menu tab for more details.

QUESTION: What time will the bookstore be open?
ANSWER: Our first ever on-site bookstore will be open from 8:00 - 8:00 on Monday and 8:00 - 5:00 on Tuesday. Only cash or checks will be accepted.

QUESTION: Will there be book signings?
ANSWER: Definitely! Directly after each keynote and featured speaker, you can meet them and purchase a signed copy of their book at the bookstore.
